People pay 159 dollars for a little card they stick to their phone that records meetings and writes the summary. But the phone underneath it already has better microphones, a battery, and a data plan. I want to build the app version: I tap start when the meeting begins and stop when it ends, and before I am back at my desk I have the transcript, the summary and the action items. No new device to charge, carry or forget. Hardware recorders sell because people clearly want this; I want to win the same customer without making them buy anything.
